Abby Meadows, Mettle by Abby 

 Since she was 15, Abby Meadows has been making and selling one of a kind pieces of jewelry. After graduating from Winthrop University with an art degree for Jewelry & Metals in 2010, she was offered an opportunity of a lifetime to design and make an exclusive line of jewelry for David Douglas Diamonds & Jewelry in Marietta, Georgia. Doug Meadows, owner of David Douglas, wanted to help launch Abby's career in jewelry. The line took off quickly, selling her first diamond pendant within the hour it was first placed in the showcase. Seven years later, she built her own private studio and expanded the business, taking on Mettle by Abby as a woman-owned and operated business. One year later, she married Doug's nephew, Malachi Meadows, a kindred artist and jeweler himself, and they have been growing Mettle by Abby ever since. Abby shares her process for creating and designing jewelry on social media as well as with her exclusive email list. From unique and inventive stone settings, to a passion for wild and uncommon gemstones and designs, she is always creating something new, but always with that strength of spirit that is infused into every facet of the Mettle by Abby culture.

 

Haley Baird, Reverie 

Haley Baird is a jeweler and designer at David Douglas Diamonds and founder of Reverie Jewelry. Kindred is her hand engraved jewelry. Reverie is her American mined and made bridal line. Haley Baird is the designer and founder of Reverie Jewelry which is an American jewelry line made with American materials, and Kindred Jewelry which brings a fresh feel to an age old art with her hand-engraved jewelry.
